Acoustic Control Corp made really great speakers. I have a pair of 626's and they are fantastic. I re-foamed my pair and rebuilt the crossovers. They sound incredible. Feel free to ask me any questions if you want. I measured my speaker diameter and found perfect replacements. My woofers are 12" Eminence. My speakers were made around 1980. Ideally you use a single 626R standing vertically, either inverted or not depending on what best aligns the midrange panel with the same driver on the L/R speakers. Adding a second speaker in parallel doesn't really buy you anything in terms of sound quality, IMHO.
