In that genre it's pretty good - rounded, has a good volume and free from unpleasant aberrations. Gucci Première opens on an enormous fruity musk — it smells like a berry punch shampoo or body spray, and it's rather more exuberant about it than it ought to be. On paper, that stage lasts for a good long time, but on skin, it's relatively short-lived. The golden quality of Première evokes a bit of a flash-in-the-pan effect; it's ephemeral, like a soirée. A première does not last for ever. There is a borderline non-perfume, vanishing quality to Première which indicates that the house is trying to woo with minimalism.It smells feminine without smelling like a flower or fruit or alcohol content, which is a huge win for me. I’m super picky with my fragrances and this has been a long-time favorite. The bottle was full, not broken, and a little bit more affordable from here than at other stores, online or in person.
